Complex Wound Care Management
Understand how wounds heal, prevent and stage pressure injuries, support complex wound dressings under a plan, and recognise infection before it becomes serious.
Important — this module does not certify you
IMPORTANT — This is a non-accredited course and this Certificate of Completion is not a Statement of Attainment. Complex wound management is a High Intensity Daily Personal Activity under the NDIS Practice Standards. Wound assessment and the choice of treatment belong to a registered nurse or other qualified health practitioner. You may only carry out wound care tasks that are set out in the participant's current wound care plan and that you have been trained and assessed as competent to do, for that person.
