Common questions about payment
Do I pay again when my certificate expires?
No. Paying for a module gives you permanent access to it. When your certificate expires you simply retake the assessment — as many times as you like, at no further cost — and a new certificate issues with a fresh expiry date.
Should I buy modules or subscribe?
Arithmetic, mostly. A standard module is $54.95 including GST, so an individual subscription at $250.00 pays for itself at 5 modules — fewer if any of them are nurse-supported, more if they are all short essentials — and it keeps paying as we add more. If you only ever need one or two modules, buy them outright: they are yours permanently, whereas a subscription is access for a year.
Is GST included in the price shown?
Per-module prices are GST-exclusive, as is normal for business purchases: GST of 10% is added and shown as a separate line at checkout, so a $49.95 module is $54.95 to pay. Subscription prices include GST — the figure you see is the figure you pay. Either way your tax invoice sets out the GST-exclusive amount, the GST and the total.
Can I claim this as a work expense?
Training that relates directly to your current work is generally deductible, and a tax invoice is issued for every purchase under My purchases. We are not tax advisers though — check your own circumstances with your accountant or the ATO.
How do I pay, and is it secure?
By card, through Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own payment page and never touch our servers — we only ever see that a payment succeeded, and the last four digits on your receipt.
We're a provider training a whole team. How does that work?
Each worker creates their own account and purchases the modules they need. That keeps the certificate in the worker's name, which is what an auditor wants to see, and it stays with them if they change employer.
If you would rather be invoiced for a group of workers, or you need dozens of seats, talk to us — we will arrange it manually.
What if the training isn't what I expected?
Contact us and we will refund it. Nothing in our terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Please do read the accreditation statement before you buy, though — it explains exactly what these certificates are and are not, which is the one thing people most often assume wrongly.
