Terms of use

The agreement between you and NDIS Support Courses.

This is a starting template and should be reviewed by your legal adviser before the site goes live.

1. What we provide

NDIS Support Courses provides online non-accredited training and issues Certificates of Completion. We are not a Registered Training Organisation. Our accreditation statement forms part of these terms and you should read it in full.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate details, including your legal name, because it is printed on your certificates.
  • Your account is personal. Do not share your password or let anyone else sit an assessment on your behalf.
  • You must tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
  • We may suspend or close an account used dishonestly, and revoke certificates obtained that way.

3. Assessment integrity

Assessments are open book — the material is there to be used. What is not permitted is having another person complete an assessment for you, or sharing assessment content in order to help others bypass the learning. Certificates obtained dishonestly are revoked, and we will tell an employer who asks whether a certificate has been revoked.

4. Certificates

  • Certificates are Certificates of Completion for non-accredited training.
  • Each carries an expiry date reflecting our recommended refresher interval. Your employer's policy may be more frequent and takes precedence.
  • Certificates may be verified publicly by certificate number.
  • We may revoke a certificate issued in error or obtained dishonestly, and the verification page will then show it as revoked.

5. Content and intellectual property

All course content, assessments and site design remain our property. You may use the material for your own learning, and print or save it for personal reference. You may not republish, resell, or use it to deliver training to others without written permission.

6. Training is not clinical advice

Our content is general education, current at the time of writing. It is not clinical, legal or professional advice about any individual participant or situation. Always follow your employer's policies, the participant's individual plans, and the direction of a qualified health practitioner. Where our content conflicts with a participant's individualised plan, the plan takes precedence and you should raise the discrepancy with your supervisor.

7. Scope of practice

Completing a module does not authorise you to perform any task. Authorisation comes from your employer, your jurisdiction's law, the participant's plan, and — for High Intensity Daily Personal Activities — practical sign-off by a registered nurse or appropriately qualified health practitioner.

8. Availability

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. We may perform maintenance, update content, or change or withdraw modules. Certificates already issued remain valid until their stated expiry regardless of later content changes.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to resupplying the training or refunding what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Subscriptions

An all-access subscription gives access to every published module for a term of twelve months, including modules we publish during that term. Subscription prices include GST.

  • Automatic renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each term, and the card on file is charged, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will give notice before a renewal if the price is changing.
  • Cancelling. You may cancel at any time by contacting us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the term you have already paid for.
  • Team seats. The purchaser of a team subscription controls who holds each seat and may release and reassign seats at any time. Seats may only be given to people within the purchaser's organisation or household. Releasing a seat does not entitle the purchaser to a refund.
  • Certificates. Certificates earned during a subscription belong to the worker who earned them and remain valid and verifiable until their stated expiry, whether or not the subscription continues.
  • Modules bought outright are unaffected by a subscription starting or ending.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, access continues for a short period while payment is retried, after which the subscription ends.

11. Refunds

Contact us if the training is not what was described and we will refund it. Refunds are not generally available once a certificate has been issued for a module, or for a subscription term once a certificate has been issued under it, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State or Territory in which we are based, and the Commonwealth of Australia.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified on this page and, where significant, by email. Continuing to use the service means accepting the updated terms.
